Thanks for sharing this! The part where he said he realized he has one thing to offer in life was really amazing and quite touching. LOVE hearing him talk so casually like this.

You are right about Highwire. It's on FB now, and it sounds excellent. I figured the guy could sing if Jake picked him. I'm actually glad he's not a Ray clone, because no one can replace Ray and this is not Badlands. He's got a deeper darker tone to his voice, and I like it. Hope they make it to NYC.

Another new 70's revival band, Scorpion Child. Kind of Zeppelin meets Black Crowes. Enjoy.

Personally, I'd put them up and ask any copyright/IP removal requests be emailed to you and you will promptly remove them. Alternatively, when requested, you could give credit. I'm sure you could find legal support for this stance.

Off topic for sure, but for anyone that likes old school metal with amazing vocals, check out Huntress. I'm utterly amazing at the power, range and passion of their vocalist, Jill Janus, even live. I'm not usually a fan of female vocals, but this girl sounds like Rob Halford meets King Diamond meets ...

I have listened to it about 30 times since they started streaming it, and had to buy it to support this version of the band. It actually grows on you quite a bit. While it's not perfect, it is by far their best release in 20 years and really harkens back to their glory years. You are right that it ...

Just got back from up north and watched it. I had to dvr it. Would of done that regardless. It was great seeing him on there and hearing the crowd go nuts like they did. As others have said, I would have liked to see a whole episode of him. Favorite part was hearing him share the story of Ray. Very ...

I watched it yesterday and really enjoyed it. I wished they interviewed him longer though. Cannot wait to see him playing on the show! Please remind each other when those episodes are on!

I finally watched it too. Frankly they should have interviewed Jake for the entire hour, and Rick for a ...

Thanks Shadow! Well, not quite a professional drummer but I did help pay my way through college! Anyhow, "Salt Peanuts" for me is from the Dizzy Gillespie song! I'm not such a fan of jazz, but I always have loved how he sang it!

I was about to setup my DVR, and I forgot that I gave up my cable TV because I never watched it! So, I will have to find an alternate way to view this!

I checked out the website registration on netsol, using a reverse whois search, and the address and name comes up affiliated with 2+ Entertainment. All signs point to go!

Thanks Shadow, and all! That is quite a unique and amazing background! Thanks much for sharing it! I'm just a lil white guy from South Georgia, whom married the girl I met on the last day of high school way back in 1986. She's Japanese, and we have 2 beautiful half-Japanese daughters, and so Jake ...
