I watched it yesterday and really enjoyed it. I wished they interviewed him longer though. Cannot wait to see him playing on the show! Please remind each other when those episodes are on!

There was also a recent post directly from the drummer (Jonas Fairley) that he was not only drumming but also singing: http://www.jakeelee.com/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=2309&p=31101#p31077

I love Jonas Fairley's voice. Has sort of an early Chris Cornell sound to it.

So anyhow, now I'm a little confused ...

Well, if they need a wordpress/php developer, they should give me a shout.

Interesting. It could be a new site that is a work in progress. It's using WordPress and the developer might be starting with a basic theme and is in the progress of updating it. Who knows. But sounds like we'll know by Falls...a tweet says the album is being mixed and will be out this fall:

Oh man, I gotta make sure my DVR is setup to record this. Maybe I'll just record the whole season (and make sure the wife doesn't delete it on me!).

Hey, 3Dayphunk, I did go back and give the Rival Sons another listen. I am kind of liking what they do. I guess it would be there first release that I am liking the most.

Nice. Check out their EP...it's self titled...it was my introduction and got me into them. I have 3 of their 4 albums ...

Thanks for the update!

Hope the album comes out sooner than later! I can live with Fall, but am hoping for Summer.

Wow, awesome to see these pics. I gotta catch these episodes of That Metal Show.

Just read this rumor. No idea of its validity. Nor do I know anything about Darren Smith.

I'm digging Rival Sons at the moment. Not necessarily like Badlands...but has that 70s hard rock feel.

Whoa, just checked out Voodooland and definitely agree! Like it the best so far...though bummed to see it appears to be a single album project with multiple guests rather than a full band?

Thanks guys.

I've started checking out some of these bands. King Karma seems cool. Cactus I've checked out before and what I've checked out is great.

Curious if any of you dig other bands that have a sound similar to Badlands? Name some albums please, as I'm looking...

I'd be shocked if someone preferred WA of Badlands. Badlands by far. But it's just my opinion.

Dusk is essentially demos. They were playing a few of these tune live too at the end of their run ("Tribal Moon", "Healer", "Dogs", "Sun Red Sun"). I think "Lord Knows" was from their very first demo (before their 1st album came out). So anyways, it should be known that a lot of time or effort to ...
