Whitie underway :)
As many of you know I have a blueburst replica and I just thought I`d let you know that a whitie is on the way now.
It will have a custom wound holdsworth prototype humbucker, 2 SDS-1's and the correct bridge (black charvel baseplate with chrome saddles) amongst other things

Re: Whitie underway :)
What Vol and Tone options have you gone for?
just seem to remember Jake varied his didn't he?
you could have the ground wire from the jack to the bridge on the outside

I beg to differ

I beg to differ
why ?
they are after all the people that made
the pickup in the first place

I actually wrote an e-mail to them some
time ago regarding this subject, and the
Holdsworth prototype is pretty much
a JB with 2 rows of screws

Not that BKPs are bad in anyway, but
why did you go with them ?

Re: Whitie underway :)
BKP sounds cooler!
How much would a custom pickup cost from SD anyway? I don't think it would be able to compete, also, I think Bare Knuckle source most materials from the UK, and if not, make it themselves. pretty nice, considering everything else aruond here seems to be imported
Have you tried them? Mine shines quite well when the volume is turned up.

BKP is within driving distance from me and Tim has been in an Ozzy tribute band doing Jake stuff, he really knows his stuff. I feel BKP produce much higher quality stuff than SD but I guess it's personal preference

most go for $160.
but considering the AH proto is a JB with 2 rows
of screws you could get away cheaper
