Got my Jake guitar finished. Turned out way better than I hoped it would. I will try to have a picture up by tomorrow.

Really cool looking guitar. I've been thinking of building a purple or blue Jakey model but with a maple quilt top. Either that or a Robin Egg blue Charvel like he played on the BATM Tour.

Does anyone have a template for the pickguard? I have
a blank, black pickguard material and I would like to cut
it myself instead of ordering one.
Thanks,
Dave

i think you could use a basic HSS pickguard as a template.
just cut the humbucker slot and then tilt the singecoil slots
10 degrees :)

thanks for the reply.
Is the humbucker tilted? In one of jake's pic's with the guitar
it looks like it might be tilted in the other direction.
Thanks,
Dave
