I thought Jake favored the Duncan JB (which I hate)?
In any case, this guy is off his rocker with the price - even for two pups.

Its worth pointing out that the JB did change at some point, he probably used the old JB
and the price, well what we would pay for a SD or other US pickup in the UK, (50-80 £) its worth just putting the extra £20 in to go for handwound

i know he used a POD for that SD clip.

Dave told me so in an e-mail when I was
shopping around for new pickups some time ago.
Settled for EMGs though ;)

Well, I've settled on Golden Age pickups from Stewart - MacDonald, for the next little while. Mmm-hmmm. I found your sweet spot. www.stewmac.com Hey, the way they go on and on about them, those Lollar people sound like DiMarzio people. :P
Everyone will love you, just as long as you are a shooting star.

I just checked out those Stephens Design pickups. The PF Star sounds really, REALLY great! $385 a set???!!!! That's almost two hundred dollars for ONE PICKUP!!! I listen to the same old blues, and apparently hear the same things he does ( or hear those things the same way), but good, giggly, pooh -pooh, Li'l Boy Blue!!

That's really awesome to see JAKE represents/endorse the Stephens Designs music gears, tools etc.,. it's out of the whelm for me 'course I don't know about all that music technology talk stuff. Yet, I can clearly see that this is very "very" special moment for legendary musician Jake E. Lee endorseing STEPHENS Design Products the humbucker/Rocker Set: it's pretty cool and have noticed such strange looking devices in musicians guitars & such so that is what make's the guitar do all those grooving spirit vibes. I'm sorta blown away with the cost for something so small it takes a mighty bite out of your wallet so to speak! But that is what makes the heart core of the guitar and the person that has the sturdy talents to make some pretty amazing trailblazing sounds from it. The "Bacon" song that Jake was playing from the "Rocker Set/Platinum Series" that STEPHENS designed for him was excellent/great sound & heart vibe all the way and be nice to see some humbucker ads/photos of the Rebel guitarist Jake E. Lee endorseing this wonderous music gadget. Much respects! 8)

let's just get this straight.
the Rocker-set was never finished. Jake was involved
in the development but ditched the project, thus,
he never endorsed it. Just a little reminder to maybe
think before writing mile-long annoying text :!:

The JB changed? when did the change take place and how did it change?

The JB is an amazing pickup, its my fave but NEVER buy the TB version, it sucks compared to the SH. I've been told they are wired the same, but I can tell you they sound totally different as I have A/B ed them.

The SH is clearer, brighter and has more gain.

I've just bought a Seymour RTM (the Warren Demartini pickup), which apparently in a supercharged JB with an A2 magnet. I'll get back to you when I get it and install it.

Metalhead if you found my post overly long & boring then don't read it: I found your response to my reply post very spiteful & cruel. "It was my 1st time seeing those STEPHEN's Design ads that musician Jake E. Lee took interest in but I had "no ideal" (for it was not even mentioned) JAKE did not fully go through with the endorsements. I wish he had..'he has the high music caliber to be endorsed with the finest Guitar's Company Worldwide. Much respects to JAKE's message forum(s).
