Check this out - the only, if not, one of the few covers of this track going around - not bad too:

Whoo -wee! Don't they teach you piano -playin' types anything about inflection??? I see you sitting there, and you've got that fancy geetar, but, you 've just got to pluck them strings, boy. You see, I caan't heeear you! Now, if we could get somebody to whistle the melody in "Don't worry, be happy," you know, uhhh . . . we might just could end -up pitching ourselves more fun than watching Micheal J. Fox at a hot dog eatin' contest! :P

The connection to the youtube site is stalling/slow at the moment: and I get very irritated when waiting a little longer then necessary. So, proberly next time check it out & hopefully it will be running at it's normal speed: if it's the same "Joe's Blues" from BADLANDS "Dag the Giblets" video it's certainly a nice film music footage of Jake playing a gritty- blues tune titled "Joe's Blues" pretty cool song & great Cowboy hat his wearing.

PS.-Sorry but I need to say this: it's very disturbing the avatar that Frethead has up of those "skeletons" in a premiscuous way: I know we have a right to pick our own avatars & such makeing sure it won't be offensive to others. So, please be considerate toward others on the forum(s) boards. Thank you.

Hey Shadow, the youtube thing isn't Jake playing, it's just some guy playing Joe's Blues on an acoustic guitar.
I apologize for having offended you and everyone else with the skeletons, as I'm not in the habit of indiscriminate exhibition. I thought that avatar was fitting for the Halloween season, being they were orange skeltons. Perhaps, the mood I was in, or ( that icon of global warming) the planet Venus was passing though the third house of my astrological sign, or something, but, I thought it was just plain funny. "Promiscuous" is the word you were looking for, and I may be a few things, but that's one which never made the list. I refrain, therefore, from being so hasty when changing my avatar. I hope things are going well for everyone.

No harm, no foul frethead. Thanks for correcting the issue so quickly.

Apology accepted, Frethead. I don't mean to be picky nor judgemental (get the odd feeling may have spelled this wrong, too) about our personal avatars for we have a right to our likes. It was just a "mind whirling" visual avatar skeleton screen/I'm like what is that...' it was shocking & in motion, so I was stunned with the "promiscuous-porn" skeletons avatar w/an "o" not a "e" huh? Thanks for the correction. Anyway, apology accepted and I like the "sea-fish" avatar more...'thanks for changing it.

Finally got through to youtube and I'm like is "Joe's Blues" really 5 minutes long 'cause as I recall it was a short diddy wit of a Bluesy grip tune by JAKE. So, I started to listern to cover tribute of it from this Gitaris musician in whom does a pretty good take on Jake E. Lee's "Joe's Blues" and it didn't go into 5minutes which makes me wonder did Jake ever extended the song or is part of a solo that's on one of the BADLANDS albums or in the vintage box of things that the legendary musician wanted to release. It has a nice balance to it a teaser song so to speak which you want to hear more of. I get the feeling that it's not complete...'We, all like to see it's finale works "Joe's Blues" Mr. Lee. Peace!

The only Joe's Blues video that I could find is by Joe Pass. There are some riffs in there that sound like Jake's version.
