Badlands blurb in Classic Rock magazine

Postby Jake67 » Mon Feb 16, 2009 12:08 pm

The UK magazine, Classic Rock, has a few paragraphs about Badlands in their March issue which is their "Lost" issue where they touch on names from the past.

The blurb mentions the "boil" incident which is kind of sad when you think that's how one magazine has managed to strip down Badland's story.

Oh well... as the saying goes... as long as they spell the name correctly, right?

Classic Rock is a pretty cool magazine published from the Uk I believe and it mainly focus on Hard Rock/Metal Classic bands of the past in particular also present/and sometimes the future of what that music artists/band are doing now which I wish they would focus on, too saying what are they up to now. Also instead of always staying in the zone of why the band broke-up & would be extremely cool in focusing on their driven power & what made them special/click: and yes their's always going to be a down side it happens in every genuine band outthere & it's best to at least have an up to date chat/interview with the founder's & other members of that band to see what their doing now...-BADLANDS members Jake, Greg & Jeff (former member Eric) have all done awesome music endeavor's since there trailblazing days in rawhide Bayou/Hard Rock band Badlands w/their awesome vocalist Ray Gillen (rest in peace) they all had moved on & I bet they would love to join forces again in homage tribute to their brother in music crime that passed away much to soon. Peace, Greg & Jake have been thinking of that for quite sometime so why not tackle it. cheers & much respects!

It's a magazine worth subscribing to even though it's pricey for those of us here in the states.

I used to have to try to guess when it would arrive at my local B&N each month. But now with a subscription, I don't miss an issue.

As someone who got into just about every classic rock band way past their peak, reading the stories from "the old days" is very enjoyable.
