Ann Lewis

Postby macheted01 » Wed Oct 28, 2009 7:27 pm

I've been digging up some other Jake stuff that I dont have. Pretty much got all the bases covered except for his Ann Lewis stuff. I found a Best Of of hers on Amazon but does not seem to have any of the material that Jake did. Does anyone have any copies of this stuff? I also found one of her releases on ebay.

↑I am sure this song was used for TV commercial song,
she sings 'jin jin jin,,' and jin was a name of Japanese liquor.

The youtube clip that lala posted, "Desire", would anyone know if the rest of Badlands performed on this song? There's a backing vocal in the chorus that sounds like Ray
I heard 'Purple Haze' on the radio and ...... it made the hairs on the back of my neck stood up

Yes Jake, Ray, Greg and Jeff performed on that track and a few others.

Thanks Jeff!

Badlands were an incredibly versatile band, being able to play many styles of music, including Japanese pop songs.

Ray sounds awesome in this song

That was really groovin' and nice - ANN LEWIS "Desire" video/thanks for the title song 'cause it has nothing but blocks/no title: I'm like what's the name of the song. It has has a "flower-power" '60's attidude/love Ms. Ann Lewis attire...'you can tell they had quite alot of fun with the making of the video "Desire" it has alot of SOUL, Heavy Rock & Jam in it and great Vocals/lead & background and the Guitar groove is Spirited. Great song and I bet Bayou Blues/Heavy Rocker's BADLANDS/Jake, Ray, Greg & Jeff had a wonderful time with helping the "Flower-power" Soultry-Rocker ANN LEWIS with this Classic Song "Desire" as well as with "Meiki" & "Rude" etc.,. Supertuff!!! 8)
