He did seem a little upset when talking about Badlands.

You know, that's not the first time I've heard people in or around Badlands
badmouth the band or it's members. Used to have a scan of an old
interview with both Ray and Jake prior to Ray leaving the band...

Eric Singer is a great drummer. I liked the ESP project he did which is somewhat hard to find now, I guess, but I have my copy. Jeff Martin was the drummer that replaced Eric. I read somewhere that he was not even a drummer to start with. He just kind of fell into it somehow.

But Jeff Martin had been a drummer in Arizona and I believed he played with Greg Chaisson

His work on Voodoo Highway and Dusk, to me, is fantastic
I heard 'Purple Haze' on the radio and ...... it made the hairs on the back of my neck stood up

I guess that is where I was going with what I was saying earlier, but got sidetracked. I dont think the guys would have selected him, if he was just ok.

Yeah, he/Jeff Martin mentions it on the BADLANDS - Dag the Giblets Deluxe Music video feature. Awesome interviews with the members (Ray, Greg, Jeff and Jake) and Classic music video's throughout while their filming the "The Last Time" video. Their outside in front of a Old Western set. It's really cool!!! 8O 8) Love it.
