Age aside JAKE E. LEE will forever be a trailblazing musician no matter who he chooses to jam with rather they legendary musicians like himself or new up and coming. The newer ones always gonna need some kind of guidance from the Master musicians that came before them. With that said I can see Mr. Lee teaming up with his brothers in Music High Plains-Crimes BADLANDS: would love to see him do a recording Project w/Bassist Greg Chaisson & Drummer(s) Eric Singer & Jeff Martin it could be all Instrumental with a couple of Vocals on the album. Maybe Mr. Glenn Hudges, John West, Chris Logan etc.,. and all of them have solid Vocal range like Ray GILLEN. Plus, wouldn't mind seeing a music project from Jake's & Mandy's WICKED ALLIANCE :!: And also the awesome line-up from JAKE's "Retraced". It even would be super-cool to see JAKE do a thunder jam with ZAKK. All in all whatever JAKE has planned up his elusive music sleeves for the year 2012 (and beyond) I look forward to the new Grooves :!: Much respects.

..'Oops, that's Glenn HUGHES (awesome Master Vocalist/Musician) not Hudges, sorry. I knew it looked strange.

A few years back I corresponded with Chaisson on myspace and he wrote me that he keeps in touch with Jake intermittently and felt very fondly about the Badlands era. I'd LOVE to see them work together with someone like Russell Allen on vocals.

A second volume of Retraced would be cool

the more I think about it, I feel Chris Cornell could be a challenger for the vocalist spot ;)

that aside...has there been any update on this?

YEAH, an update "please" it's now near the Summer of 2012 (and next you know it's the count down to bring in the New Year 2013)...'where's our new JAKE E. LEE album, all those music works the da Oge is grooin' in needs to be unleased!!! And of course his own music groov Solo vibe going on...'like in my previous post comments above, would like to see JAKE groove with those Classic Rock N Rolla that's for sure and Chris Cornell, his excellent Music Artist, too. He sung that Casino Royale/James BOND theme song in the 1st movie: that was bad ass. Loved it!!! Chris Logan, Glenn Hughes, theBeast Mandy Lion (he and Jake are awesome as WICKED ALLIANCE, love that band, too!!! Scary, though.), Russell Allen etc.,. are throw down Music Artist/Vocalizer. Bad asses!!! Yeah, JAKE went our 2012/2013 new Music grooves from you! Thank you. And of course Chaisson, Singer and Martin shoud make an guest appearance on it in rememberance of Sunshine/RAY GILLEN. Peace!
