Jake's Charvels, US or Japan?

Postby gingataff » Thu Nov 30, 2006 5:31 pm

Hi guys.
I'm trying to find out if Jake E Lee's Charvel Holdsworth models were made in the US or Japan. The few pictures I've seen all look like US made models to me (the narrow spaced 12th fret markers and natural headstocks) but I'm sure there's someone here with more info :D

By the way I've been trying to find the equipment section and can't, do I need the all access pass for this?

Thanks in advance!

Thanks, I registered and saw the equipment section it says he retired those guitars sometime after the Bark At The Moon tour, which means they must have been San Dimas Charvels as there was no Japanese production until 1986.

wonder if he got them through the same friend he had working at Charvel
that also modded his sunburst strat to something more recognizable 8)
