Guitar Buzz! Help Please

Hi All!

ive been having problems with my Flying V. ever so often i get a buzz from the lead sock or the volume knobs. ive been told its a loose earth wire and i should use some solder (even though i don't what that is)

any suggestions??

your help will be greatly appreciated :D

It could be a loose earth wire. Check nothing is interfering and if you have a multiplug or something take them out and use it directly in the socket, sometimes noise from other plugs in a board can make it sound poor.

not its not that. i don't use a multiplug. it seems to stop when i put my finger on the lead and then comes back when i take it off.
