Hell yah Rustkill, he did a few shows with George Lynch and what a humble, awesome, and underrated player.

Can't believe that no one has yet mentioned Steve Rothery from Marillion. My second favorite guitarist after Jake. :)

He's been cranking out amazing, inspirational and soaring guitarwork on their songs since 1981.

Ian Crichton of Saga is an excellent guitarist who also did session work with Asia. Worlds Apart was one of Saga's best.

Just reading back through some of your list and had a few thoughts:

The first rock concert I ever saw was Billy Squier with Ratt opening, Warren stood out for Ratt but Squier annihilated them.

Shawn Lane (God rest his soul) and Tommy Emmanuel are two scary mf's.

TNT was a band that should have been HUGE with both Tony Harnell and Ronnie Le Tekro.

When Shawn Lane started out with Black Oak Arkansas, Tommy Aldridge was the drummer.

Tommy has played with:

Jake
Randy Rhoads
Shawn Lane
Vivian Campbell
John Sykes
Steve Vai
Tony Macalpine
Doug Aldrich
Reb Beach
Scott Gorham
Brad Gillis
Adrian Vandenberg
Pat Travers
Ted Nugent
and to many others for me to remember, lol!!!!

God I will never forget his intro on Juda's Painkiller. Such a shame drummers haven't got more opportunities to start songs.
