That all sounds great Gutterflower "thanks" for sharing and hopefully I'll find some of those Classic Hard Rockers newest Cd's works in the Record Stores - I already have OZZY's newest album/Cd "Black Rain" and finally found Megadeth's "United Abominations" newest Cd and both albums are really thunderous/excellent. I look forward to Velvet Revolver "Libertad" (on VR Website-it's cool watching them put their newest masterpiece together) newest Cd coming out, I thought it was mid June 2007 so it's coming out in July 2007. That's alright I can wait...-SLASH is on the cover of Guitar World-July 2007 w/this white oranges Snake: I'm like is it 8O real, oh my God it is. He has all wrapped around his Guitar with no fear on his handsome face: I quess it's Slashes pet. It's a great Cover story by the way "The Cat in the Hat is Back!" - Boy, there's some mighty heavy drama in that band/Scott Weiland's wife burned a good portion of his finest clothes :? due to a heavy argument they had and recently "sadly" Matt Sorum loss his brother to cancer, so "sorry" to hear that that certainly takes a mighty big dull on one's Heart when a love one is taking away much to soon. And Slashes serious battle deep issues is finally being won/that's cool & good news for sure: anyway great issue GUITAR WORLD July 2007 that features legendary Guitarist Slash on the Cover. Also I noticed this salute to ESP Guitars conquering the Metal scene since the mid 70's and fame Guitarists' George Lynch, Kirk Hammett & new Guitarist Alexie Laiho are featured in it: their discussing their Signature axis contributions to the the TOKYO Guitar maker's History and I wish that legendary Guitarist Jake E. Lee could of been (and should of been) included in this treasure vital issue. Much respects "check it out". 8) Peace!

THE BEST OF QUEENSRYCHE TO BE RELEASED ON AUGUST 28TH:

July 9, 2007

CAPITOL/EMI TO RELEASE SIGN OF THE TIMES: THE BEST OF QUEENSRYCHE ON TUESDAY, AUGUST 28TH

NEW CD & DIGITAL ALBUM RELEASE FEATURES 17 CAREER-SPANNING TRACKS, INCLUDING SEVEN TOP 10 HITS; 2-CD DELUXE COLLECTORS EDITION ADDS 15 RARE AND PREVIOUSLY UNRELEASED RECORDINGS

QUEENSRYCHE TO JOIN HEAVEN AND HELL TOUR IN SEPTEMBER

In a career that spans nearly 25 years, Queensryche has released 15 albums that have sold more than 20 million units around the world.

On August 28, Capitol/EMI will release Sign Of The Times: The Best of Queensryche in CD, 2-CD Collectors Edition packages and digitally. The new career-spanning hits collection features 17 of Queensryche's best singles and album tracks, including seven Top 10 Mainstream Rock hits, packaged in a jewel case with a sixteen-page booklet featuring custom artwork, a discography and track notes from the band's singer, Geoff Tate.

The Collectors Edition, presented in deluxe digipak packaging, adds a second disc of 15 rare and previously unreleased demos, outtakes, remixes, live recordings, television performance audio, recordings for soundtracks and a new, never-before-heard song making its release debut on this collection.

"In an era that valued style over substance, Queensryche emerged as a contrary force to the happy-go-lucky sounds of hard rock in the late '80s and early '90s," explains Paul Gargano in his Sign Of The Times liner notes essay. "In hindsight, one might even go as far as to say that the band succeeded despite themselves. Whether knowingly or not, they zigged when the industry zagged, progressed while the scene regressed, and offered provocation while others opted for escapism. There's a subtle irony, then, that their best-of collection is called Sign Of The Times."

Among Sign Of The Times: The Best Of Queensryche's 17 hits and favorites are the #1 smash "Silent Lucidity," "Jet City Woman," "Eyes of a Stranger," and "Another Rainy Night (Without You)" and more than a dozen other well-known songs. The 15 tracks on the Collectors Edition rarities disc include three demo recordings by Myth (lead vocalist Geoff Tate's band prior to Queensryche), three demo recordings from The Warning, three bonus tracks from the reissued Empire album, bonus tracks from the reissued Promised Land and Q2K albums, an intoxicated version of "Silent Lucidity," a previously unreleased version of "Della Brown" recorded for "MTV Unplugged," and a new track making its release debut, "Justified," recorded with original Queensryche guitarist Chris DeGarmo.

Beginning September 5 in Binghamton, New York, Queensryche -- Geoff Tate, Michael Wilton, Eddie Jackson, Scott Rockenfield and Mike Stone -- and Alice Cooper will join Ronnie James Dio, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler and Vinny Appice on the "Heaven and Hell Tour" for a U.S. trek that is expected to continue through early November.

That'll be an amaaazing show 8) I saw Alice on a bill once with Dokken (Reb Beach era) and Slaughter, I think it was (I skipped their set lol). I was really there to see Dokken, but Alice kinda blew me away with how good he was live.

Only two releases that I'm waiting for:

Michael Schenker Group - In the Midst of Beauty

Motley Crue - Saints of Los Angeles

I might give JP's Nostradamus a listen... but I really can't seem to care about them anymore... and I'm also kind of curious as to how Yngwie's disc is gonna be now that Ripper Owens is his singer... note to Ripper: given how Schaeffer treated you, do you really think Yngwie is gonna be any better?

BlackHeaven good choice, Saints of Los Angeles is a great song and I cant wait for the album. Judas Priest have got another album coming out but im not sure if im looking forward to it or not :( Ive been let down in the last couple of years by relatively poor performing albums...
Black Rain by Ozzy, Angel Down by Sebastian Bach, A Matter of Life and Death by Iron Maiden etc. However United Abominations by Megadeth was a brilliant album and they fully deserve their award of Best Metal Album of 2007 :)
