he didnt actually want to be in the band but axl kept begging him to and invited him over to a christmas party and axl gave him a leatherfaced doll as a gift a toy buckethead always wanted so he decided to join the band
so the internet tells me !

I actually think Bucket head is Paul Gilbert.
