I still play a bit....My wife and I get together with a few friends to jam. Sometimes there's the odd gig, but not like in the "old days" when I was doing 5 nights a week in 2 bands, Top 40 and Metal/ Hard Rock. These days I mostly concentrate on my business and only play when I'm testing our products.

I really like Carvin products been using the pro audio stuff and guitars for about 25 years now. You can't beat the value for the money. They're a local company..The factory is about 20 miles from the town where I live. I believe in patronizing local companies...It keeps the economy strong.

Carvin's real big now, but back in the 80's ALL the guitars were custom. I think I paid $875.00 USD for that pearl white DC 125. It's Neck-Thru and has a reverse headstock, ebony fingerboard, real mother-of-pearl dots, Alder Strat body, 1 Carvin MS22SD high output humbucker with a coil tap and a Kahler 2700 series trem with Auto-Latch. Action is set at 1/16" at the 12th fret from the factory...That guitar plays FAST!

Here is one of me around 1986. This was taken at a Club in Houston and we were opening for a metal band called OMEN from California.
