It would depend upon what I became famous for. Actress/rock star type of fame - not for me. Inventor or something along that line - yea, I think I could stand that kind of fame.

Fame is a thing of many variables really. A lot of celebrities are famous, and happy, because they are big headed, money grabbers and are splashed all over the newspapers, and there are other celebrities who enjoy their wealth to themselves and keep out of the way, and you have the celebrity who feels great happiness by donating part of his/her money to charity. A lot of celebrities feel they do their bit by donating money to their many charities. Therefore, depending on what kind of famous person you were, yes you COULD be happy.

Thank you guys.....
I personally think the money would help me in one ay which is I'd not have to worry about the old days anymore.....I mean, I'll have what it takes not to and up a 75 years old bum. As for my talent be recongnized, I don't know....I sometimes think someone having a real talent doesn't need to hear compliments from other in order to be happy with his art........and there's the scarry papparazi thing....cant' beat them, or you go to jail.....and how do you recognize real friends....

I guess I'd do it similar to Jake... famous enough to have my own customized guitars which could be recognised by everyone and on the other hand a very private person... I don have kids due to my age but think it rather is a disadvantage for their natures if kids experience stardom

Dean, maybe they do... but just thinkabout those "chicks"... they're interested in the celebrity's social + financial status, possessions, to be secure and envied... it's seldom love but pure laziness and asininity... in most cases

I remember Ozzy in the 'Don't blame me' video mentioning Randy as what a rock star should be. He said he was constantly running away from the media, looking for his guitar lesson in every town they hag a gig in...

Yeah those chicks....they're just for sex..no love....can sex make someone happy ? I dont' know...I hope there's more from life...I think anyone having a job that fits his personality, smart enough to surround himself with the rights friends can be happy...I'm just 34, but this is what I ask for life by now..

The papparazzi thing - that's why I would much rather be famous for something like an invention - less flamboyant and glamorous - let's you keep a low-key profile.
