Hi. Welcome to the board. To get Jake's sound, you need a 1980's Marshall JCM800 2203 100w head. Then you need to get a 1980's Boss OD-1 pedal. Then you need a Marshall 4x12 cabinet outfitted with 200w EVM12L speakers from Electro-Voice.

This setup will nail Jake's live sound.

Try and get your OD-1 as soon as possible. They are slowly becoming rarer and rarer and going up and up in price. I'm going to be fleased of £100+ to get mine :(

Yeah Dean may be able to set you up with a pedal like the old OD-1.

Yes Jefnel1 and metalhead are correct.:)

I have a limited supply of NOS (new old stock) JRC4558 chips. The same kind that are in vintage OD-1's and Tubescreamers. I'll be more than happy to convert your newer OD-1 to the vintage chip for a small fee plus return shipping. :)

If anyone is interested please PM me or e-mail me at: mail@cats-eyeesp.com

Cheers!
