i know Jake didn't use his on the road(too fragile),
but I can't help wondering if he used it for recording ?

That's a good question. I can see it being fragile. The neck is super skinny. They were originally marketed by Gibson as a "Student" model. So, they were primarily for people with small hands. It's a shredder neck for me though and I have large hands
