Bark at the Moon Outro Solo (Harmony)

Postby skezza » Mon Jan 28, 2008 4:30 pm

I was looking through a few of the tabs the other day for Bark at the Moon and ive noticed none of them seem to have acknowledged the fact the outro solo is harmonized. Has anyone seen a tab with it harmonized? Its interesting that nobody whos been tabbing it has picked it up so far, and if anyone knows how to play it, I will knock up a Guitar Pro and PowerTab for those who cant if you pop up your methods of playing it. I have my own, but ill reserve them for now ;)

Is it an actual harmony? I never noticed that. I thought the solo track was most likely overdubbed to get the sound.

it's the second part of the outro solo that's harmonized right ?
sounds like the outro Jake used to play live.

i think CommanderColby tabbed it out
a few years ago. Is he still around btw ?

Ive not seen it I must admit. Im quite sure its the same as the one he played live, but its quiet in the recording obviously. But if you have a play on equalizer, you can get quite a good sound of it. I must admit, i like it a lot, so any ideas are welcome :P

I use the same patterns, for the second time round. I used to play the whole outro with the string skipping, now I work on the stretch, but still play the second bit with the first finger on high E

--11 p 10---------- ----13-p-10------- ---15-p-10-------
--------------13---- ---------------11--- ------------------
--------------------- -------------------- ----------------12

-15-p-12------------- --16-15--13--15-13--------------------------------------
----------------------- -----------------------16-15-13-15-16-15-13-----------13~~~~-
-------------14------- -----------------------------------------------------15-12--

Thats just the notes I used, I don't need to repeat the whole lot do I? and you know the rythme?
