Is that the one this kid took the track from? How rare is it? How easy would it be for me to pick one of these cassettes/books up?

I see. Its a nice backing track whatever it is, interesting sound, thought it could be worth learning, not a massive problem though :D

Oh man... I have the Star Styles cassette in a drawer right next to me, even though I haven't had a cassette player in ages. That same drawer has the Jeff Beck, Ritchie Blackmore and Randy "Rhoades" Style cassettes. (And a Carlos Cavazo Star Licks cassette for good measure.)

Just noticed this... Randy's cassette has his name spelled "Rhoades" on the cassette box cover, but has it spelled correctly on the cassette itself. A collector's item!! ;)

I think I still have some of the Learn To Burn recordings around as well.

The sad thing is I don't think I ever learned how to play any of the stuff on those cassettes/CDs. I just didn't have the patience at the time... I'd learn a riff or two, then move on.

I probably spend more time now learning stuff because I can use something like GuitarPro 5 or Capo which is so much easier now that we have things in digital files that we can slow down the music and still keep the same pitch.

That was really spectacular groovin' there "Guitar Techniques/Jake E. Lee Style File" JAKE certainly does have a unique playing style that reminds me of a wind Twister, a Tornado and even a Jet Plane, the Electric mastery of his music style(s) is so passionate and Heartfelt you can see it each and every time he grace that stage. Total passionate Rebel Heart all the way from his Classic Co-works in OZZY to BADLANDS, WICKED ALLIANCE and his Solo Career...'your certainly a "High Wire" Electric musician Mr. Jake E. Lee. :D Keep on keeping on your Magic. Godbless.
