Tedeeoo, how's the flooding issue where you are? Are you near it? Got pretty bad here in S. Indiana/Louisville area week before last.

Hey Doobie,

Most of the flooding here is well West of where I live, everything along the western border of the state is under water. All the way from Memphis to New Orleans is getting it and we really haven't seen the worst of it as the Ms. river hasn't even crested in alot of those areas. The tornadoes, on the other hand, were WAY to close to where I live, the EF5 that hit Philadelphia, MS. was less than 10 miles from us and the EF4 that hit in Jasper County is just South of us and it missed my sister's house by maybe 1/2 mile, everybody I know was either affected directly by the twisters or knows someone who was.

No prob. Glad you're well. The national news showed the flooding and the many, many water moccasins hanging from trees. Showed rats and gators, too. Ugh!! Maybe the snakes will eat the rats and take care of that problem. Getting rid of the snakes and gators is another issue, though! Hoping not many of those things slither, crawl or scamper your way!

Most of the MS. river oxbow lakes have moccasins in the trees even when they are not flooded, I used to go fishing on them quite a bit and you always had to pay attention or one might fall in the boat with you!!! Maybe the after the snakes eat the rats, the gators will eat the snakes and hey, fried gator is VERY good!!! Might even get a good pair of gator skin boots out of the deal!! lol!!!

(I'm just kidding about the boots, but not the fried gator )
