Only two questions I have:
1) why is kool and the gang opening up some dates, Rival Sons would have been perfect.
2) any bets that the lowest priced tix will be under $100.00-doubtful, but
this should be a great tour

Kool and The Gang is opening here. Nosebleed "cheap" seats - $97; Mediocre mid-arena seats around $300; best seats $499. Wolfgang on bass. I don't think this one is meant for this girl ... no way, no how.

Yep, Kool and the Gang here as well. Not for me. I guess it might have some kind of appeal out here being outside of Detroit and the way they have been mixing genres of music in concerts lately. I will wait for a DVD release.

I dont know. Hopefully the rest of the album is better. This is what I would expect in a DLR release, not in Van Halen. Alot of the journeyman artists are finally getting it and that is going back to the old formula, not trying something new in order to try and compete or keep up with the new wave.

Doobie, you are shopping on scalper sites. Other than VIP packages, the tickets for this tour range from around $50 to around $150.

Hint: if it's not from the venue or ticketmaster, it is a scalper site.

People have gotten really sucked into these 'stub hub' kind of sites and think they are regular outlets for tickets. They are scalpers, make no mistake.

Seasons, it wasn't a scalper site - TicketMaster, it was.

I dont know about Ticketmaster either. We bought a premium VIP package last summer for Motley Crue and received nothing we were supposed to other than the great seats. Lets face the seats are most important, but when you tell me we are getting a shirt, VIP laminate and some other items, for that price I damn well better get them. To top it off, when trying to contact Ticketmaster, there was never a reply. Also, when trying to get in the Starlight Club which is the VIP lounge area at this particular venue, we caught grief about that as well with the tickets we had. Ticketmaster just kind of bummed me out at that point. Besides , I would rather see Chickenfoot at the State Theater than see Van Halen at the Palace.

Well check again, I just looked at tickets on ticketmaster in Indiana and they are indeed 50 to 150. You must have been looking at VIP packages.

That could be. Will do. But, the concert I'm looking at is in Kentucky.

As for me, and so much, $ 100 is now the fifth of my monthly earnings .. The crisis has caught up with us.
