Its safe to say cause in the latest tms you see it up close its in a rather new condition, has p90s for pick ups and on the headstock there is a small piece of writing.

so, him having a P90 in there now doesn't really say much. he could've hade a new pickguard made
to fit a P90. loose a few screws and VOILA, the pickguard comes off

We know its a new guitar for 2 reasons.....1) it is well known jake gave whitey away some years ago 2) charvel themselves have said on there facebook that it is a prototype jake is playing...also the fact he gave away a charvel show's he is more than likely dealing with them

There was a lot of discussion here on the forums about Jake getting rid of the old whitey, quite a ways back. I guess there was never any actual evidence of it though. Pretty sure, though, that what he is playing now is brand new. Its safe to say though, that the old whitey is pretty worn out. Jake E Lee is making a comeback, why wouldn't Charvel get with him and put something together? After all, he help put Charvel on the map, back then.
