Advice for a cheap recording software for computer/laptop

Postby johnthebrucelee » Sat Mar 04, 2006 12:19 am

I've been wanting to create my own (instrumental) music for some time now. I've looked around the .net for some recording software and found these at an affordable price for me:

SONY Acid Music Studio

CakeWalk Music Maker

And also, how do hook up your guitar to the laptop/computer?

Holy smokes, that's expensive, but with a lot of features.

Well, I was supplied with lots of audio tapes I needed to transfer to PC. I used my sony tape deck going into my line in port, and was using software called GoldWave. really good stuff.
