Since he was already in a band with the guys from Badlands (I think Ray was the best rock singer ever!!!!!), this will be a close second for my dream line-up.
Jake E Lee-Guitars
John Corabi-Vocals, occasional guitar
Andy Fraser-Bass
Brian Downey-Drums
This would be awesome! I don't think any of them are doing anyting significant no, so.............
Yeh Corabi would be good, I am going to see E.S.P next month, and this lineup has John Corabi in it. Will be the first time I will get to see Corabi live.....cant wait.
Wow, very refreshing to see some of the vocal choices this time around! I didn't get too annoyed this time.haha Everyone has got to stop thinking METAL for all their choices. Jake has that side, but that is not what he is out to do. Escpecially now.
Best idea is Pinnick! That is right on. I would stand in line just to hear 60 seconds of that union!
Meniketti is also a cool choice, but the only problem is he would have to take a back seat guitar wise and that would be a waste ya know? Steve Harris is obviously cool, but that would be pretty awful having him 'galloping' away with Jakes stuff. Totally wrong. And I don't know who that Penis guy is on drums...
I hate to admit to the Corabi idea, but that would probably be pretty cool.
Um, Pearcy? Sometimes I hope people are kidding with some of these. Jake is so versatile and Pearcy is so...not. That would be about as limiting as having someone who can't sing at all in the band like...Mandy Lion. Oh, wait...he already did that. See, so been there done that, it's gotta be someone soulful, versatile, and dynamic. Hey, kind of sounds like someone else Jake played with huh? And I'm definitley not talking about Ozzy!!!!!!!!!!
That penis guy happens to be one of the most tecnical and versitile drummers I've ever heard. True none of you know him, but trust me. You should. He is incredible. Warms up with some of Neal Peart and the guy from Dream Theatre's stuff (can't think of his name right now)
Anyway, you're right about Dave and Steve Harris. How about
Vocals: Lou Grahm
Bass: Victor Wooten
You said that's not what he's trying to do right now. From what I hear,he isn't trying to do anything right now.
I was just naming some top musicians I thought would compliment Jake's expertise. What happened to Lou? He just did a show here in Pine Bluff in October. Did a pretty good job then. Was he in an accident?Besides any of these musicians could mold to a blues rock style. Jake deserves the best.
What do you suggest then. Heavy metal artists. IO thought that wasn't what jake was doing these days. Give him someone more versatile. What better choices than those who have mastered their instruments.
Hi Everyone,
My Dream Jake Lineup would be.
Jake E Lee:Lead Guitars(Guitar God)
John Frushanti(R.H.C.P)
Glenn Hughes:Vocals AND Bass Guiatars(Funk Master)
Chad Smith:Drums and Percussion(R.H.C.P)
I agree with Mr.Metal on this one but if I had to choose another:
Jake E. Lee (lead guitar), Deron Miller of Cky (Rhythm Guitar/Backing Vocals), Tommy Lee (Drums), Peter Steele from Type O Negative (Bass) and I'd have to think about who the lead vocalist would be hahaha! I want something fresh though.
