One cannot deny Malmsteen is a Virtuoso..but he has a certain... ability to make everything sound the same...there are many repetitive runs that are littered in every solo! ....He always has the same sounds.
He Always picks great Singers!...to be honest I have the g3 dvd and found him quite a competent singer!

It's because it's Yngwie Malmsteen.

Re: Jake E. Lee -VS- Yngwie Malmsteen
yeah, Yngwie and Zakk seems somewhat similar

It's because it's Yngwie Malmsteen. He's himself, so is Zakk Wylde. They are not trying to be someone else, but themselves.
I don't know if that's totally accurate, the Zakk part anyway. I always thought Zakk sounded like a combination of Rhodes and Lee. Maybe that's just me though....

Well, I don't listen to Zakk other than his days with Ozzy. I've never gotten into BLS, so I can't make a judgement on that.

Vomitory are swedes?? wow! I did not know that Learn somthing new every day.
anyway I think if YJM stuck to that hendrix Vibe .like when he plays and Sings hendrix tunes Live I think him and Jake would work well to gether there because Yngwie can really sing his version of Manic Depresion rocks
but when it comes to tone I have to go with Jake but when it comes to shredology I am still very undecided

The artist formally known as Brawler

lol @ the name "Vomitory". I always thought "Hot Vomit" would have been a good band name. Although I loathe the word "vomit", I thought it would have been a good gross-out name.
