I've never liked Maiden that much.

See its hard to compare the guys
I mean Scott Travis and Nicko McBrain are GREAT drummers
and Bruce Dickinson and Rob Halford are GREAT vocalists
and Adrian Smith, Janick Gers, and Dave Murray are great guitarists like
Glenn Tipton and K.K Downing
but i already know Steve Harris is better than Ian Hill by a logn shot
so i dunno :(

Gonna have to go with the Maiden boys on this one. Im probably gonna get slammed for this but Priest always kinda seemed a little cheesy to me.I remember the first time i saw live footage of priest i thought one of the village people had quit the group and gone metal. Ive always preferred Dickinson over halford both in performance and vocal styles and Murray,Smith and Gers in my opinion are way better than Tipton and Downing. And also Nicko Mcbain is one of the best drummers of his era. So remember its just my opinion and i wasnt trying to offend anybody. Jake.e.lee RULESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS and thats a fact.

Well Rob is pretty unique and has abilities other singers,Bruce included, don't have. I don't remember how many octaves he can cover exactly but that's pretty impressive. He's more technical too and...well, I'm pretty partial to Judas Priest and don't really like Maiden anyway so...

Revelations?

I am partial to Maiden, but I love Priest. It is really a hard call for me. They both have a big place in my heart as far as music goes.

It seems to me Priest is more adaptable to new music and re-defining themselves as music evolves. Maiden seems to be stuck with that formula they are known for and I haven't really seem them step out of that to get a new sound. Bruce has on the solo albums, but not Maiden as a whole. I call that sound the Iron Maiden shuffle.
