Based on Ozzy's performance on the recent UK R&R Hall Of Fame show I think Zakk ought to consider singing for Ozzy's band too.

Judging from BLS's last 2 efforts it seems that the whole Black label thing may be starting to fade a little. As far as Ozzy recording again if its anything like DTE he may definately want to think about hanging it up. And i just think that Zakk needs to take a little time off which sometimes does musicians some good if anything just to refresh the batteries a little bit.

Except for 3 or 4 songs, Hangover Music was pretty weak in my opinion. I do like acoustic songs but most of them were kinda a let down for me.
Mafia was cool but I had already lost interest and moved on to other things.

I'm just curious what's cooking in the Ozzy camp now that Zakk is back.

Mafia was in the Billboard top 20 for a while. That hardly represents a fading away in my opinion. Just my two cents.

Ozzy probably got a fresh batch of songs when the demo-tapes were raining in. Kinda' what Limp Bizkit did when Wes Borland left the 1st time.

After reading this thread, I pulled out Zakk's Pride and Glory CD. That is some great stuff. Really cool.

By fading away i meant that the songs havent been as good as they were on earlier efforts and maybe Zakk just needs a break. And IMO Pride and Glory (ST) was the best thing Zakk has ever done and i still crank that thing atleast once a week. 8)

I really like the southern rock vibe on P&G, being a big Skynyrd and Allman Brothers fan. I like the brutal metal of BLS. Great stuff to go see live and slam several brews too. To me, they just keep getting better and better. None have topped the BLS debut though. That was just BRUTAL!

I picked up a P&G DVD boot a few weeks ago...I'd like to see him do another record in that style, just to mix it up. He was still using his regular voice back then.
