Whats Jake gonna do next? Questions

Postby Alkeys » Fri Jan 13, 2006 3:11 pm

Does anyone have any idea what he's working on?
Why did Wicked Alliance fall through? Mandy Lion seemed a bit too "goofy" for Jake. I wonder why that didn't work out.

Do you guys think Jake still talks to the Badlands guys?

Who is he buddies with in the industry these days?

Are him and Warren DeMartini still buds?

Have any of you guys ever spotted Jake in Vegas?

I'll try to answer these just for the hell of it.

I'd say a new solo project, we'll just have to be real patient.

For lack of support from the "fans" and maybe from labels. I also read somewhere that they had a hard time financing studio time.
I don't agree on the fact that Mandy was "goofy", just different and too out there for traditional Metal fans who don't like change and experimentation.

Hard to say. I don't think so but who knows.

Mike Varney?

Still buds certainly, they might not see each other as much as in the past

Have any of you guys ever spotted Jake in Vegas?

How could Juan Croucier took WA to court? Their bassist was Brian Perry...

I can't see the link here. :?:

Tribute albums are cool and stuff but I can't imagine that they are that big of a seller/money maker for Jake.

Now how a guy like Mandy-Lion makes a living, I have no idea.

I just wish Jake would play a bunch of shows again with a proper band again.

I know that Croucier owns and operates a recording studio somewhere in California so maybe WA used the facilitie and they failed to pay him or something like that im not sure

I actually loved retraced, I love the old stuff, and I loved his interpretation of it, but yeah, would love to see Jake maybe team up with Badlands again, and do something. Maybe Eric Singer is a bit busy with Alice Cooper and Kiss, but fuk I would love to see those 2 playing 2gether again. Best Rock/metal Drummer going around at the moment. :)

Dude... NO ONE can replace a guy like Ray Gillen (even if hes not my favorite singer) NO ONE can sing for badlands other than Ray. And hes resting in peace in heaven. So the badlands are done... :( but I doubt Jake would do anything with Eric. Since Eric is knee deep in KISS and Coop. Jake could do something with Greg Chaisson i think...

I emailed Eric Singer the other day and he said that he hasn't talked to Jake since 1993 so i don't think those two will be getting together anytime soon. Plus i think Eric is in Germany or Japan right now anyway. I don't even think he resides in the LA or Vegas area.

Yeh I seen and met Eric Singer last year in july, he is touring with the Alice Cooper band at the moment, they have a few dates this year, and also he has commitments with Kiss anyway.

lol, would be cool but I doubt he will go for my line-up with Tommy Bolin :P

Anyway I would like to know what's next, with Jake endorsing pick-ups and effect pedals there must be something going on...

Lets hope retraced was a warm up not a cool down.....
