Yeh I use the Amps Distortion too, I just use the overdrive for solos etc, just to give it a bit more.

Got me a new head, and it sounds killer. Still trying to dial in the sound, but as far as a great sounding amp with six 12AX7 preamp tubes and four 6L6GC power amp tubes blasting sonic bliss. This is the first amp I have bought in a long time and my first Peavey.

I like that I can go to brutal metal, to more of a classic rock sound, to a nice clean with some grit.
