Classic !!!jefnel1 wrote:Man, I'm getting old. I remember the day it came out - I rushed to my local Record Town store to buy it (they've been long gone since the early 90's). My favorite tune initially was Shot in the Dark. Then I grew to love the entire album in about a week's time.
Jefnel1, I did exactly the same thing. I was 15 y.o, rushed to my local record store here after seeing Shot in the Dark on tv and being mesmerized by Jake E Lee's playing. I too loved the entire album within a week !

I just typed a whole, big-assed commentary on the Bark at the Moon album, my experience where it was concerned, and giving kudos. . . yadda, yadda, yadda. Like, duhhh. Ultimate Sin, gotcha. I was 17, and recuperating from a really bad head injury.
Re: Twenty Years Ago this month
Yeah I have to hear that! I didn't like Joe's version of Bark At The Moon at all though.MetalHead wrote:Jeff, you don't happen to have the Ozzy-boot from '97 where Joe played Never Know Why ?!
Re: Twenty Years Ago this month
Yeh, know what u mean, was a while ago, but seems liike yesterday...I first saw shot in the dark on a music show back then, but Ultimate Sin and Lightning strikes were my 2 fave songs, but fell in love with the whole album pretty quick, and it got a thrashing for a while there.jefnel1 wrote:Man, I'm getting old.
