My first touch with life rock music I mean really big concert was back in 1997 .It was whitesnake with vandenberg - good show, one thing i can't forget so far -the amazing guitar work provided by "The Flying Dutchman ".The last show was 2 months ago Steve Vai with his dreamband and unfortunately i was disappointed because he played mostly brand new songs and i didn't like them .Nothing from his old albums only "for the love of god". he is doing now sci-fi unreal music which is very very tough ,may be some die hard fans would say they like it but not me .I think Steve Vai would be great just staying in a band with vocalist ,playing rhythm and his trademark solos with another guitarist ,but not solo.He's just getting more close to techno music than rock !

I bet you were an absolute beautiful baby Stratattack! 1971 (the 70's in general) was a very groovy & special times for me growing up...-hmmm, I think I was 12 yrs old and we bugged our teen cousins to death to take us with them to Ike & Tina Turner Show. Which was "spectacular" I never seen anything like them since except for the magnificent Diva Icon Tina Turner herself, she's beautiful & very Talented!

My first concert was Kiss in 1980 at Adelaide Oval with about 40,000 ppl, was a fkn huge night, I was the biggest Kiss fan back then, and the last one I went to was December last year, and I took my kid to his first big concert and that was Motley Crue and Motorhead.

My first was a summer jam that included (ut oh, age-revealing time) REO Speedwagon, Bob Seger, and two other bands I can't recall right now. I need to find that ticket stub - it's got me wondering now just who the two openers were. hmmmm.

Last concert was Queensryche LiveCrime '05.

Now let's take this turn:

My first really good concert was Van Halen in their glory days.
2nd to VH was frequently touring trio of The Scorpions, Judas Priest and Maiden. Ticket price $1.02. T-shirt prices - $6.00. Saw that trio when they came through here many a time.

My last really good concert was (please don't giggle or guffaw, even) none other than fellow Hoosier, John Mellencamp. Donovan was the guest. What a show that was! Am I getting too mellow .....? Too old .....? lol. Maybe I just appreciated the fact the John wouldn't let his management sell tickets higher than $25 - 'cause you know John is all about "the working man". Too bad he couldn't get t-shirt prices lowered from the $30 asking price. lol

Shit....average ticket price here in australia is at least $100...... Alice cooper this year was $97 Motley Crue and motorhead was $140, Velvet Revolver were about $90 as well, fkn amazing the prices are over here these days.

First Concert was Ozzy and Metallica at the Peoria Civic center in the summer of '86. The last concert was Def Leppard and Tesla at the same venue in July of '05. Arena Rock Rules

I SAW THAT TOUR! Jake really tore it up on that one! We got pretty damn close to the stage and almost got busted by the security dudes...we hauled ass and got away! That was an awesome Ozzy show. I will never forget it.

Maybe we should do ticket prices...my first concert was $8.50. That was in 1981

My U2 ticket on the main concourse this past October=$182.50

I paid $93 to see Prince in August 2004 at the MCI Center in DC, and that was a stellar, non stop jam for almost 3 hours, with a 45 minute acoustic set in the middle. One of the best concerts I've ever been to.

I hav them all exect monsters of rock 1987 lost that one the bight of the show but met a cool chick that I am still freinds with to this day.
