Yeah I love how George makes the Breaking The Chains solo better than the studio version too. Don's vocals are flawless and George's solos are amazing.

I always thought Don Dokken was one of the worst vocalists in metal. Every time I saw them live, he was terrible. On studio albums he was great, but I really didn't care for that nasal tone he had. Maybe I always caught him during an off-night...I don't know. Oni Logan sounds tons better to me. I liked Wicked Sensation more than all Dokken albums combined.

Don Dokken had nothing to do with Dokken being great!!! Oni Logan was really good in Wicked Sensation. That was a great album too.

I like Don, period. I respect the fact that he's stayed true to what he does and has tried to keep the band going over the years.

I enjoyed both Erase the Slate and Hell To Pay for recent efforts, but Back for the Attack was their best IMO.

That doesn't mean he's a good singer ;)

Well, I agree. I don't think Don is the best vocalist known to man, but he's not the worst either.

Ozzy isn't technically great either, but I enjoy listening to his solo stuff.

The Dokken claw hand album is TOOTH AND NAIL.

and in Still of the Night, Vandenberg used a violin bow on his guitar, like Jimmy Page on Dazed and Confused. But each time I saw Whitesnake in concert, I think it was prerecorded because I saw Adrian go and hit a few buttons on a machine when it came time for that solo.
