I had a Splawn QuickRod which had a built in second volume to boost for solos. As for a boost pedal, never had used one, but just purchased a Keeley modded SD-1. I believe you can set it up like a boost, still waiting on the JEL OD from Dean.

I have a GMW Blueburst!!! However she has a ebony fret board and the input jack is on the side (edge) unlike Jake's fender type! It also has two humbuckers...the neck slanted like Jake's single coils. I also had a replica of the Whitey built by RS Guitarworks.......but it felt like it was built ...

Saw Jake in Wicked Alliance around 96. I don't remember a lot about the show, but Jake kicked ass!!!! One of my friends was there and got to meet Jake after the show. I knew I should have stuck around!!
