JakeELee.com

Hey folks. I deleted the other post about taking over the site. Skezza, a long time Jake fan and moderator for the last 5+ years, will be taking over jakeelee.com. He and I are working feverishly to make this a smooth transition so that all content will stay intact. There may be an interim solution ...

Ok due to popular demand I've opened the forum to new users. However, there will be no update to the site. I've already put out an open call for someone to take over the site before April 2013 or else it will shut down and the domain will be up for grabs. If some of you feel you can do a better job ...

Um...all that content was stolen from jakeelee.com. There is a hidden page for All Access Members that outlines Jake's Gear Specs. I guess I'll have to open up that section to everyone now that some ass (who paid to be an All Access Member, by the way) has posted the information for free.

Thanks ...

That guitar hasn't been seen since the Bark at the Moon tour in 1984. The mirror pickguard is not actually glass and you can get either a plastic or plexi-glass one.

Last I heard (and this was about 7 years ago) a private collector in LA purchased the guitar. Jake hasn't been seen with that guitar in almost 20 years. Maybe some day it will show up in an auction or on eBay. Maybe they'll open a new Hard Rock Cafe and it will show up there. I think it's safe to ...

Sounds awesome. The main riff is from the Wicked Alliance demo "The Rust". Guess Jake is not feeling very inspired even though he's recording again.

I'll believe it when I see it

No

Yes ESP xTone Paramount PC-1. The model has been discontinued, but you can find them on eBay from time to time.

Both the Gotoh and Fender HT suck because they do not stay in tune after string bends. Look on eBay for one of the new Charvel Wild Card hard tail bridges. They are available in Chrome and Black (rare). They are affordable now that they have been reproduced by Fender/Charvel. I have them on 2 of my ...

I was skeptical on this engagement from the start. I don't have any insider information, but if you recall Sydney was the only one saying in interviews that Jake is their guitarist and that they were going to play that festival.

Unless you see or hear Jake himself say he's in a band or playing a ...

To those of you who have built or are building Jake-style guitars, I finally found an affordable bridge with all the quality and intonation as an original Charvel brass hardtail (the rare ones that go for $250+ on ebay). Charvel has reproduced the bridge for their Pro Mod guitar line. I have only ...

I've read that Rumblin' Train was Ray's semi-autobiography. I would have guessed Jake's favorites to be Jade's Song, High Wire or Soul Stealer. When playing these tunes live, he always added extra jam time to these tunes.
