Your favourite albums

Post by Hell_Tanner »

Well, let's just list our favourite albums here, could be your all time favourites, the ones you're currently listening to, the last CD's you've bought and love, whatever, you can always come back and update your list! :D

I'll start with the CD's I'm listening to the most right now:

- Prince: "Dirty Mind" and "Purple Rain", just recently got into his music seriously and I love it. I remember listening to the Batman soundtrack again and again when I was younger back in 89 or 90...he's such a talented musician and multi-instrumentist, he used to record, write and perform his albums all by himself...you just have to respect him for that.

- Van Halen: "FUCK" and "1984", "FUCK" is certainly one of my all time favourite, one of the heaviest VH record in my opinion, humungous drum sound on this one! 1984...well it's 1984, need I say more?

Hell_Tanner I had the chance to buy 1984 on LP It`s really good album.I like it.

Udo - Thunderball 2004 today is in my playlist .That piece of music is 100% heavy metal .Also Loudness - Soldier of Fortune 1984 .Thank you Les Paul for sharing those 3 videos of Akira Takasaki and his band Loudness.Akira is my hero now! John Norum and Glenn hughes - Face the truth '92 - another solid hard rock album with strong vocal line.

Well, I wouldn't call III a disaster...it's just really different from traditional VH but there are some amazing songs on that CD: Fire In The Hole, From Afar, etc...they were just expanding, experimenting with a new singer but that didn't make it commercially. It WAS a commercial disaster though but the live performance were just AMAZING, Eddie was playing amazingly well, his live sound was phenomenal, one of the best sound and playing I've ever heard from him actually. Hell, even rothtards kinda like this album!
