is that a CHRVEL in you hand it looks like a model 2 those thing were awsome and so easy to set up.
you can still build those from warmoth parts. I hope you ere using a Marshall.

Nope...Custom Carvin DC 125 (I posted it's attributes in another thread). I was playing a Carvin 100 watt 2x12 all tube combo in those days, I think the model was X100. basically their version of a class AB Marshall-type amp...12ax7's and EL34's with Celestions. Sounded good and was rugged enough for one nighters.

Speaking of Marshall's I'm getting together the parts to build 2 marshall heads. A 100 watt Super lead and a JCM 45. A buddy of mine brought down the output transformers (brand new Mercury Magnetics) the chassis' and a bunch of misc. components as well as repro plexi panels... they're gonna be sweet! I still need the jacks switches, tube sockets and other hardware....and of course the time to assemble 'em. We're thinking about a joint venture.....Making a few amps for sale, but well have to see how these 2 turn out with mods we've been discussing first.
