I'll mirror MetalHead's topic about Zakk's guitars and start one about Jake's.
So let's see...the white charvelized Fender Strat?
The purple burst Charvel?
The blue Charvel?
The white SG?
The ESP signature? (choose your color
)
I let the new ESP out, too early to associate it with Jake...

White Charvel too, quite simple but immediately recognizable.

With a P90? Dirtier but somewhat thinner I guess, I'm no p90 expert.
I'm not a fan of Gibson SG's although I own one, Strats suit Jake better I think.

I voted for the Purpleburst since mine is near completion and what I'm currently working on. I would have voted for the white one, but I finished that one last year
I have found a finisher that can replicate the burst very well and the work he does is astonishing. We poured over photographs for days to get the shade transitions pretty much correct. I'll have photo's soon as the pearl/metallics do not photograph well indoors without special lighting. Next year.....the Blueburst!

I think he used them a lot more in Badlands, I would assume he used them for clean parts in Ozzy and for some dirtier and more bassy lead runs in Badlands.
But that's just guessing for the most part although I've seen him do what I've described on various Ozzy and Badlands concert vids.
