Jake and George Lynch would be cool. Jake and Zakk Wylde as both play without whammy bars or gimmicks. Jake and Warren DeMartini from the teacher and the student angle also.

That's a tough question for sure! In all honesty, I'd like to see Jake and Zakk do something together.

Jake & Billy Gibbons

Jake & John Sykes

Jake & Gary Moore

Jake & Vivian Campbell

Jake & Stevie Ray Vaughn

Jake & Mike Stern

Jake & Gary Hoey

Jake & Neal Schon

Jake & Carlos Santana

Too many to list....I'd just settle for more of Jake's playing period.

Agreed. However, I think there was a thread on here once stating Viv moved on to a diff style  .

Really?....Vivian just released blues record. I just saw him with Def Leppard, and he had a pretty fiery blues based style....he wasn't as "over the top" as he used to be but a fantastic tasteful player none the less. Additionally he sings now as well.

Sounds like he's gone back to his old ways then. That's a good thing!

Steve and Vito....yeah! I read an interview with Vivian one time where he said that style he played with Dio really wasn't his forte. I think his playing on that first RiverDogs CD is fantastic.

What about Jake and Nuno Bettencourt?

Jake and Warren D was intended  because I am a huge fan of both players and would prefer that combo. Jake and Zakk theoretically would be the best choice as far as the blues aspect and have a more straight-forward approach not using whammy bars,2-hand tapping etc..

I wouldn't mind seeing the Rebel Guitarist Jake E. Lee and Thor Guitarist Zakk Wlyde do some serious Trailblazing on a new instrumental Project/both are excellent Master musicians Trailblazers: that would be mighty cool to hear & see :!: Peace.

yepp, they're both great talented guitarist and I love their heavy-style too. However I meant whether Jake was aware of teaching Warren (did he gave him lessons?) or not since DeMartini got a bit of Jake in his playing style here and there, especially when it comes to rhythem-parts...
