Promised Land was a good album, but I realize not every Ryche fan likes it. I read where Geoff wrote a great deal about his emotional struggles throughout life on Promised Land, and for some reason it rang a bell with me.

Musically, it rocks less than Empire and the 80s cataloge, but Promised Land still has that Ryche signature sound.

Anything after that album pretty much sucks, that's for sure!

I know another Riecher that likes that album too. I just didn't get it, or what they were trying to do with it. I am hoping OMII is a step back to their glory days.

This is not a new Queensryche song but rather a cover of "The Needle Lies" by a band I love called Vision divine. Not as good as the original of course but it is a cool cover. Download it and let me know what you think.
