Jakes new Pickups
Just informed by da Oge himself that he's now endorsing Dave Stephens' pickups.
Check 'em out here...... http://www.sdpickups.com/humbuckers.shtml

Re: Jakes new Pickups
Very interesting!!! Thax for sharing, I'm checking out the website.
I'm pretty sure that means more from Jake in the future...
So Deansolo, did you talk to Jake recently?
EDIT: found this on the site:
"Jake E Lee of Ozzy Osbourne fame is currently helping me in some fine tuning of both these sets, which he calls his "rock" and "blues" sets. In the near future I will have sound clips of him demo'ing both sets in his guitars. Rock on........"
I'm excited to say the least!

AWESOME!!! I'm headed to the site right now. I guess it's time to pull the EMG's out of the strat and put in some Dave Stephens' pickups.
Re: Jakes new Pickups

Yep, got an e-mail from him yesterday.....he's agreed to be in a series of new Cat's-Eye pedals ads we're planning for the guitar magazines.
Said the only companies he fully embraces nowadays is Cat's-Eye
and Dave Stephens P/U's.
Needless to say I'm very happy to hear that. He also MAY be doing an interview for musicgearsource .com .

Re: Jakes new Pickups

When will Cat's Eye make their first pickups ?

Good thing! I'm Glad for you and Cat's-Eye.

I wonder if Jake will stick with ESP, any idea?
Re: Jakes new Pickups
I'm interested in hearing these. It will be hard to convince me to change out my SDS1s...I love their tone. I've gone through a few different humbuckers so I wouldn't mind switching out the JB to see how these sound.
Re: Jakes new Pickups
i think everyone should use Bill Lawrences

Re: Jakes new Pickups
So with all of this endorsing this and endorsing that and appearing in this add and doing an interview for whoever what everybody really wants to know is if Jake is going to do anymore recording or touring in the future.
