I haven't bought an Ozzy cd since No More Tears. From what I have heard and read ........... I am not gonna buy this on either .
Ozzy do yourself a favour , hang it up , throw in the towel .You are proving too the world it is about the money not the music .

Re: Ozzy Osbourne-Black Rain
hmm .. in the past, Ozzy had a thing for young hot guitarplayers...
I mean Randy was 23 when he joined...
Jake was 25 ...
Zakk was 19 ...
so that's the age range Ozzy should be aiming at.
I'm thinking ... Gus G of Firewind ?

sure, he was a student of Randy Rhoads, but he was also the most
boring Ozzy guitarist to look at

That guy is a friggin' monster!MetalHead wrote:

Gus can sure crank out the songs and Ozzy might sound pretty good in front of his riffs. I am thinking Gus may want someone with a little more vitality than the old man. Ozzy can't keep up the touring pace at his age and Gus is a hungry young player.

Re: Ozzy Osbourne-Black Rain
This album is mediocre at best and thats actually being nice. Over produced and not at all original in the least bit. Thank god for Rhapsody.com so i didnt have to buy this piece of garbage. You see the main thing that seperates Zakk from Jake is that Jake has artistic integrity and he never would have played on a piece of garbage like this. But i think Zakk is a musical whore who will do anything for money. I really used to like Zakk but hes getting old .
Re: Ozzy Osbourne-Black Rain
I am glad I didn't buy it .
But it had two desent songs on it.
I think It would been better if it had a different style of guitar playing.
I think jake would have done a lot better job .
Sorry Zakk.

I see your point, but I can also see Zakk's. The new album does suck, sounds all the left overs from the last BLS album.
If I was Zakk I'd have done the same, I think he did the ozzy stuff to get BLS on the tour and get exposure. Let be honest, BLS are good but would never fill large arena's but going along with ozzy gave them exposure that they would'nt have otherwise had.
I saw them at Birminghan (UK) and the BLS kicked ass and gave it everything. but ozzy just went through the motions as usual, forgeting words generally looking like he did'nt really wanna be there. So I'm sure BLS left that place with more fans than they came with.
