Bark At The Moon Live

Postby PoetsandMadmen » Mon Jan 23, 2006 2:22 pm

Well, for the first time over the weekend I was able to watch the Bark at the Moon Live in Salt Lake City, UT DVD! I've never been able to see Jake or Ozzy live for that matter.

Needless to say, Bark at the Moon is a much better concert than the Ultimate Sin Live Video, IMO anyway. Mainly due to Jake and Tommy Aldridge playing together. They're both insane together, that's all there is to it!

The DVD proves what a great guitar player Jake is, and what a great drummer Tommy Aldridge is! Yes, Jake's stage presence is impeccable! The Salt Lake City show is essential for sure in order to see great live footage from these two veteran musicians!

You can order it from Jeff out of the Bootlegs - Video section of the site. It's the Salt Lake City Live listing.

The bottom line is, PoetsandMadmen gives the Bark at the Moon Live in Salt Lake City a thumbs WAY up, so check it out!

I wonder how Aldridge + Wylde would've sounded ? :)

yup ...

don't know if it's the combination Soussan/Castillo that makes TUO worse than BATM.

I belive Ozzy had his best lineup during the BATM Tour. Ozzy seems to be struggling during the show, but I don't care. The musicians make up for Ozzy's lack of talent! :-)

Have to agree on that one.

No one can really touch Bob Daisley on bass, except maybe Geezer Butler
and I think Tommy Aldrigde is the best drummer Ozzy has ever had :)

I agree with every thing that metalhead said exept for Geezer Butler. Mike Inez has alot more skill then Geezer . as well as Robert Trugilio is a mad man more so with suicidel then Ozzy and I dont wish to get onto Metalica man have they gone to the grave, ST anger sucked.

I have that concert on DVD and it is a good one. I still prefer TUO though because overall i think it sounds better and ive always been a fan of Castillo's drumming but Aldridge is one of the best. As far as Metallica and Trujillo go i cant wait for the new album i think it will shred.

They need to call it a day. If they proved anything over the last few years, they proved that they will do anything for money. They have truly become a pathetic joke. Most of the people I know that claim they are Metallica fans these days have no idea what metal is.
