I am huge Jake fan but he could support his fans some more. or record a new disc.

Why does'nt Jake read the board?
I have been talking here a long time.
I guese a few years.
I have changed with all the boards.
I hope Jake and his daughter works things out.
I hope Jake takes up more time with his fans.
I also hope records a new disc of origanals.
I hope that when jade reads this she tells her dad.
I have been supporting his music since I was 12.
I love his music.
I have bought and paid for all of his music in cassette and disc form. I have even had them on album.
As far as what I have been through in my life as opossesed to Jade's

How do you know Jake DOESN'T read this board?! There are almost 3,000 registered users on this forum, and only a small percentage of them actually post...

I'm sure most of us that frequent this board have all supported Jake's music by going to shows, buying his music in all of its various media forms, turning others on to his music - I know I have. But IMO, it's presumptuous as a fan to demand that Jake put out another album. Sure, I'd LOVE IT if he did - but on the other hand, if he were to never put out another thing, I'll be happy with what we've got. It's QUALITY vs. QUANTITY - I'd much prefer that he put out quality product once every 10 years over some yearly inferior drivel that's churned out just to satisfy the masses.

...and no, nobody knows what kind of hell you've been through in your life - but on the other hand, nobody knows what's going on in JAKE'S life, so take that into consideration and respect that. It works both ways. I can't imagine that he would even WANT to post on this board after reading some of the insulting shit written about him and his daughter! Reading that kind of negative crap probably reinforces his belief that it's better to remain silent!

This kind of post adds nothing to the conversation. Badmouthing Jake's daughter is disrespectful to her and Jake, and it's probably a good way to get axed from the board. You might want to try a new approach.

Some of what is said I can agree with. I do not care if I do get banned. This board does not feed me or my kid. I said what I felt was true. None the less I still love Jakes music. If what I said offended oh well.

Just because she's Jake's daughter doesn't mean she's cool, talented or personable. Personally, I dimissed her after reading her myspace page the first time. It was then she stated she hadn't seen, heard from or even cared about her dad. No news to be found there, so no reason for me to hang around. For you to have even tried to discuss him with her wasn't very bright - she said straight up she had nothing to do with him. Unless, of course, you spoke to her since the reconciliation. And, if that's the case, refer back to the first sentence of this post.
