Just from a photography point of view, removing the signage puts the focus on the true subject of the photo, which is Jake. The signage, no matter what it is, is just a distraction.

Too bad the shot wasn't taken right against that wall in the background... it would have made an even better casual pose without the shadows and the oil on the ground. (Again, I'm just speaking from a photography point of view.)

Forget the aestheticism! I think he's just lucky to have gotten a shot of him. You don't see very many recent photos of the man.

The guitar that jake is holding is a Gibson Sg junior.
The year of the guitar is some where between a 1961 to 1966 I think.
The tv is the color of the guitar I think.
I like to see more new pictures of Jake.

I think TV was to do with black and white pictures and thus they had white

TV white was off white, as pure alpine white did not show in a satisfactory nature on B/W TV's

The TV Les Pauls were yellow. I didn't care for the one I tried. Just didn't have that heavy as hell Les Paul feel and sound. But it did have that single P-90 and similar pick guard like Jake's TV White SG

I know the guy selling the guitar, and it is the real deal. The guitar is from Jake's personal collection, he owned it for years.

Yeah i said earlier, ive now seen three different pictures lol. There is one on myspace with the store sign visible. But i guess i can see why they would do it. Lets not forget this isnt a perfect world, and people might get a few nasty ideas if they knew where that picture had been taken.
