RS Guitarworks Whitey Replica
I have a chance to buy a Whitey Replica from RS Guitarworks. Any experience with them? Good guitars?
Re: RS Guitarworks Whitey Replica
Geez?! Anybody?
Re: RS Guitarworks Whitey Replica
I looked up their name. Personally, I've never heard of them. The guitars on their site look great.
Did the make the replica for someone or do they produce these every once in a while? Also, what kind of price are they quoting you?

You really got me! Hey, while we're on mystery guitars . . . would anybody happen to know what the name of the Canadian guitar maker that made Steve Harris's sparkly blue Fender Jazz style bass? I was just thinking about that the other day.
Everyone will love you, just as long as you are a shooting star.

Yes, exactly! Thanks, Jim. That bass really is an excellent complement to Steve's sound! It's got that cool shape too, you know? Approaching the lines of a firebird or a jaguar, but not . . . I was standing on Adrian's side, in Atlanta, for Powerslave. Unfortunately, he rarely approaches the edge of the stage, you know. Back in freakin', like, '84, anyway!!! Would you happen to know who built that white sort -of sunburst "studio" strat body for Stevie Ray? I believe it was Canadian in origin, as well.Jim2368ca wrote:LADO guitars

hi there, RS guitarworks are legit. they do great work and have great products. i'm lindy fralin's web master and that's how i got to know them, as they sell a lot of fralin pickups. i've also used their wiring kit in my LP Jr. good stuff. check out the artists who are using RS guitarworks for custom works...its a solid list of rock artists. i'm sure you'll like their stuff. BTW, i've also met some of their crew at a guitar show in nashville and they were great folks.

RS tried passing that thing off as a legit 73 fender done up like Jake's....when they were called on it, the bought the guitar back. I was told the guitar played like crap too.
