That could also be a GMW. They have made a few for Zakk.

And thanks for the compliments on the Bengal. She is a limited edition and as far as I know is sold out. Keep an eye on Egay, I am more than certain that in the present economic situation one will appear sooner than later....

Thanks SDBinNY, I'm not so much in favor of two-horned guitars. I really don't know how to explain why, but, you're Bengal is splendid looking! ( I never use that word, and I think I've used it twice to describe your guitar. So, it must be something else!) I looked into that GMW guitar, and you're right. They're making some very nice looking replicas, as well! As best I recall, somebody named Carl Sandoval had something to do with the pokey -dot and bowties guitar, and it's more or less referred to as the "Sandoval." Any idea who he is, and what his association to the guitar is/ was?

Karl Sandoval was the luthier that built Randy's polka dot v, and if I remember correctly it cost Randy around $700.00 (including the case).

As for the GMW's, I really really drool over the reverse polka dot, but I could never play a 21 fret axe....

LMAO I was wondering who if, and when somebody would mention that!!!
LOL I have found it's much easier for me to type "pokey," than it is to type "polka," and uhh, LOL . . . Polka is a big horn style of music that's only entertaining when you're so drunk you think you're having a great time! LOL It also gives the impression that I'm a big, strapping Hulk Hogan type, or something. LMAO

Very nice.
Thank you for sharing that.
My favourite is the first one EVH with just one pickup.
So true, I mean who uses the other pickups anyway ? lol just kidding.
I suppose Jazzmen are more into the low pickups sounds.

I know what you mean. That 84 bengal he has up there leaves me all tingly in my happy place.....

As for the neck pickup.. Comes in handy for some more "acoustic-like" clean tones if blended with the bridge pickup properly, but Boss has a pedal that takes better care of that..
