Nothing to date.....he was probably asked by all the big companies back in the 80's to do instructional videos but if they did he obviously said no.....very much the pity.

That's nothing new for many legendary Musicians in their early youth/early days in music have their own special Music Artists/Bands Icons and emulate & practice & practice and practice some more (my goodness!) to improve their craft and then from there develope their own unique Wings and fly on their own. Then yrs on down the Road some young up & coming musician is emulated them! 8) It's the Circle of Life, interesting.

There was an old article in Guitar World where he showed how he played some songs from TUS. Obviously it was just photos, but it's about as close as we've gotten.

I do have (somewhere) a Young Guitar special that was all about Jake's playing style. In this case, he had nothing to do with the magazine, but it was nice to see a whole issue dedicated to his playing.

You can sometimes find it on eBay:

I spoke with my brother, and he gave me his copy of Bandland Recorded versions songbook!

That will help! (Hope is accurate)

Back in the 80's a company called " starlicks "did instructional videos not by the artist but other musicians who interpretted their styles and licks from well known solos . I had the Jake e Lee , Randy Rhoads , and George Lynch videos my 3 favourite players...
