ALLPARTS JEL Bridge

Postby jakebrake » Fri Sep 09, 2011 11:07 pm

ALLPARTS JAPAN JEL Bridge
From Google translate:

JEL BRIDGE CR [Product ID: 574 114]
¥ 12,600 (¥ 12,000 tax price)
Hard Tail Saddle Black & Chrome Base, stuck in the details thoroughly. The width of the saddle itself is 10.5mm, the pitch of the bridge plate is 10.8mm. Hole to hole from six-string and first string is ordered by 54mm. As long as stock!

1-why is this so expensive?
2-why does Allparts US *not* carry this item?
3-why is building a Whitey replica so hard?
-truss rod w/ rosewood and small start headshape
- reverse slant single coils
- hard tail

4- why do I *NEED* to build this guitar? :)

God, I miss Jake.

You need to build the guitar because it feels right! I had a guitar that I had custom built years ago that was similar to Jake's with a stop-tail bridge. To paraphrase Tony Montana as he was wooing Elvira, "With the right guitar, there's no stopping me."
